The advantages of Erasmus are a lot: improve your English, meet new people from many parts of Europe, discover a new reality both in life but also in studies field. Cracow is beautiful and even if at the beginning you'll leave with some doubts about it, in the end you will be forced to fall in love with it, as happened to me!

Krakow is an amazing city with a lot of attractions to offer, which makes it a perfect destination for Erasmus. You can meet a lot of people from many different countries at any moment of the day and make lifelong memories. Ignatianum has a perfect location as it is only a few minutes away from the Main Square. The teachers were all extremely helpful and kind.

I think that this period was the best of my life. Erasmus is a unique experience, make you grow up a lot, and give you the opportunity to make friends from all over the world. And Krakow is simply amazing - you can find there everything you need. There's a lot of things to do, so you will not be bored for sure. Ignatianum is a good university, with a really good structure and a well-equipped library. Teachers are available and ready to answer for everything you need to know.

My Erasmus experience in Kraków, an interesting and beautiful city where it is possible to meet many international students, was really amazing. Akademia Ignatianum is very well-organised. The teachers, the Polish mentors and the International Relations Office are very attentive to our needs and doubts. I am very satisfied and I would recommend to other students to come and study here because I can say that I had the opportunity to grow and stimulate my critical thinking even more through the confrontation with teachers and colleagues from many different countries.

If you have Ignatianum as an Erasmus destination at your home university, go for it! The city is beautiful and the local people are very kind and helpful. Learning at Ignatianum was a great experience. The lectures were useful and the teachers were very kind there. The mentors organized a lot of interesting programs with the International Relations Office so we didn't have time to be bored.

There are well-qualified teachers and professors at the university . Polish students are very kind but you should be open-minded. The requirements are feasible. During the semester you will have enough time to visit the most important places in Poland. The public transport is not so expensive, and in Krakow you can use bicycle, Wavelo. If you are interested in dormitories I can recommend the dormitory of AWF which is 20 minutes by tram from the university. The atmosphere of city is special, very familiar and safe. Some of our mentors are very kind and they organize programmes for you to get to know Krakow and the others people.

I would absolutely recommend going to Krakow for exchange studies. I have been here for five months only so far but I really love it. Ignatianum has become my second home, the people who work there are always prepared and have done everything to make our stay even better. The teachers who teach at Ignatianum are young and open to dialogue, unlike in Italy where the students interact a little with the teachers. I recommend Ignatianum to everyone. Good luck!

I will remember this semester forever. The Erasmus Programme allowed me to meet new people and know new perspectives. Everything was perfect and I had the possibility to discover a country that I didn't know before. I strongly recommend this experience here at Ignatianum!
Special thanks to Antonia of the International Office, she can manage every problem, always with a smile.

It was a really unforgettable experience, which allowed me to visit and live in a beautiful city and to meet many beautiful people from all over the world. This Erasmus experience in Krakow and at Ignatianum was one of the most valuable I had in my life. It has been absolutely the best choice and I would choose it again! I fell in love with the city just from the beginning. Here I had the chance to practice my English and to face Polish language (which I really enjoyed! Don’t be scared of it!). Also I came across so many cultures, discovering a lot of interesting facts, by meeting people from different countries, either in the university and outside. I would really recommend this city and Ignatianum, the International Relations Office really did a good job by organizing not only our courses’ schedules but also with the lots of events during the semester. I will always keep Krakow in my heart.

Although Krakow is a very small city, you will meet a huge amount of international students for sure. In short, the best destination for Erasmus!

I think that Erasmus in Krakow and at Akademia Ignatianum was one of the best experience in my life! I have really enjoyed my stay here in Krakow, attending Akademia Ignatianum. I found the university full of friendy and helpful people and the city way more comfortable than I would have thought. Even the weather has been better and not as cold as it was supposed to be! If I had the choice, I would choose Krakow and the Akademia Ignatianum again for sure, and I really recommend to everyone the same. Let's consider Poland as beautiful as it is and stop lower its value!

MARZIA

I really suggest to make an experience in the Erasmus Program because this will give you the possibility to grow up not only as a student but as human being. You have the great opportunity to know different culture and different way of thinking and to meet a lot of nice people too. I suggest to spend your time at the University Akademia Ignatianum because it is very well-organized and allows you to discover the real culture of Poland. I really appreciate the help of the Coordinator and the presence of a Mentor that can help you in every moment ( Actually I made a really nice friendship with the mentor of mine and I'm very happy about that). The university also organizes very nice events like the International Dinner in which we shared information about our Native Country and we ate some local good food. I had also the opportunity to attend with my parents in a trip to Prague that was organized by the university and that was a really beautiful experience!

I really enjoyed Erasmus+ Program at Ignatianum. I fell in love with Krakow city first, and the second love here was Ignatianum. Teachers are so nice, want to help you and respect you in the same way as you respect them. I enjoyed school and especially each subject had something nice. It was challenging for me to learn in English, as for everybody on Erasmus, but we passed and we enjoyed. I am happy that I came here, even if I were scared at the beginning. I met so many nice people, from school, other Erasmus and I did so many new friends. This year I will travel a lot to visit them! I can't say anything bad about Ignatianum. Everybody was helpful, especially in the International Relations Office (thank you again!). I must rate this university as 10/10! It is a nice place, there are nice people, nice everything in the most beautiful city which has a magical spirit! LOVE KRAKOW and it will be forever in my heart. Hope I will come back soon!
